History⇧⌘V
Everything you copy. One place.
Text, images, links, files, code and colors land on one shelf, newest first — docked to the bottom of your screen. Go ahead: search it, switch Spaces, pin something, or click a card to paste it.
Copying is temporary.
Remembering shouldn’t be.
⌘CCopy
An install command you'll need again.

How it works⇧⌘V → ↩
Copy once.
Paste anywhere.
Press ⇧⌘V in any app and type a few letters. One click on a clip pastes it into the app you were typing in — and the clip moves to the front of your history as the current clipboard.

Hi team,
Quick update:
Thanks!
HistoryNo expiry
Keep it
forever.
No arbitrary history limits. No forced 30-day cleanup. Your clipboard stays yours until you decide otherwise.
No item caps
Not 50, not 500, not 1,000. Every clip stays searchable.
Cleanup is opt-in
Age-based rules are off by default and never touch pinned clips or Spaces.
Unlimited history by policy, constrained only by available local storage.

SpacesPins · Titles · Tags
Give your memory structure.
Keep work, personal and project clips apart without moving anything. A clip can live in several Spaces at once — and always in History.
- Pin the clips you reach for every day with ⌘P.
- Give any clip a title with ⌘R. Clipivo never overwrites it.
- Delete a Space and its clips stay in History.

Some things shouldn’t be remembered.
Tell Clipivo which apps to ignore and it won’t read their clipboard at all. Password managers are skipped automatically, and likely secrets get a second look.

clips in Clipivo’s stress tests.
The search index, paging and memory use are tested at 100,000 and 500,000 records. Real histories are usually far smaller. Your history is paged, so the panel never loads everything at once.

Up next on the Mac: dragging clips out of the panel and onto Spaces, snippets with placeholders, a paste stack, and notarized builds with automatic updates. Future platforms aren’t available yet — the storage format and archive format were designed so they can share your history later.

InstallAbout a minute
From download to ⇧⌘V in six steps.
01Download
Get the latest build from GitHub Releases.
02Open the DMG
Double-click the disk image to mount it.
03Move to Applications
Drag Clipivo into your Applications folder.
04Open it once
macOS blocks it the first time with this message — expected for any app without a paid $99/year Apple certificate, not a sign something’s wrong. Click Done.
05Open Anyway
On macOS 15 and later, go to Privacy & Security, click Open Anyway next to Clipivo, and confirm. (macOS 14: right-click Clipivo › Open › Open — no settings step needed.) This is one-time, per install.
06Allow Accessibility
Lets Clipivo paste into the app you’re using. Without it, a click copies and you press ⌘V.
07Done
Press ⇧⌘V anywhere. Copy as usual — Clipivo remembers.
